Smoky Mountain WINERIES and DISTILLERIES

The Smoky Mountains are well known throughout history for their production of moonshine.  Because of this, several distilleries have opened across the area and have even experienced new growth with more and more opening every year.

Smoky Mountains moonshine locations include Pigeon Forge,  Gatlinburg, Wears Valley, Sevierville, and Townsend.  Each of these locations offers different types of moonshine and you’ll find variety in flavors, styles, and brew methods.

Moonshine Tastings are a staple in the area as well and should be added to your must-do list!  Smoky Mountain moonshine can be very flavorful or the classic that the hardcore fanatics will love.  it isn’t uncommon to find a small tasting while sampling at a Great Smoky Mountain distillery.  These are typically in Gatlinburg and the fee is most often $5.  This $5 coupon can be applied to any purchases made in the store so oftentimes it works out to be free!
